Bardertown Video was on Fox 17!
We find that to be very exciting. Now the news is out about our little video store, and we love it. Sam at Fox 17 says the Grand Opening is August 22, but due to scheduling conflicts, we changed it to August 23 from noon to 10 pm.

Currently, we have two store dogs, one of which is Parker. She loves greeting all the new customers. She is not here every day, but we’ll let you know when she is, and you can meet her! Coming soon, Bruce!
Day 1 in the Bag!
Day 1 went well for a sneak peek. We had some customers and even made a little money! It was so fun!

We’ve been working our butts off.
We at Bardertown Video are working diligently to set up and prepare the store for our first Sneak Peek Weekend on July 18th and 19th. We have our register set up, but we will be CASH ONLY until the grand opening, which has been teased but not officially announced. Again, we will be CASH ONLY. We still need to set up a bank account, which requires a TIN, which in turn requires a lot of other things. It is taking time to get our ducks in a row. We promise we will be able to take credit and debit cards soon.
We’re trying to get all of our movies bar-coded and into the database. We’ve mentioned before that we are scanning and scanning, and placing UPC stickers and scanning some more. It’s long and tedious, but we’re doing it to provide a more well-run store for our customers.
